Upon arrival, the warm hospitality of hosts Catherine and Howard stood out. They genuinely engaged in conversation, making us feel at home. Their attention to detail in the beautifully decorated rooms was commendable, providing a cozy haven after a day of exploring. Breakfast each morning was particularly noteworthy. Guests enjoyed a generous selection, including classic full English options alongside refreshing continental offerings like artisanal cheese, cold meats, and freshly baked croissants. I opted for the continental spread, which was a delightful way to begin the day, coupled with fresh coffee that provided just the right amount of energy for my nature-focused itinerary. Situated right on the seafront, the B&B also offers a charming atmosphere, making it an excellent base for exploring local shops and bars just a short stroll away. For food enthusiasts like myself, this combination of comfortable accommodations and exceptional breakfast options makes Bassets House an excellent choice. I would gladly recommend it to fellow travelers keen to indulge in a unique culinary experience while soaking in the scenic beauty nearby.
